Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TinyTalk (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TinyTalk.

Who can use TinyTalk

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. TinyTalk is intended for parents and caregivers of young children. You may only create child profiles for children you are the parent or legal guardian of, or for whom you have caregiving authority.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us right away at support@mytinytalk.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

What TinyTalk is — and isn't

TinyTalk is an educational screening and tracking tool. It analyzes short recordings of your child and compares results to CDC/ASHA-aligned developmental milestones to help you notice patterns and try suggested activities.

TinyTalk is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure speech, language, hearing, autism, or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for evaluation by a pediatrician or licensed speech-language pathologist. If you have concerns about your child, consult a qualified professional.

Reports are not clinical documents

Any report, transcript, summary, or share link generated by TinyTalk is a parent-facing educational aid based on a short audio sample. It is not a medical record, clinical assessment, diagnostic test, or standardized evaluation. You may share a report with your pediatrician or SLP as a conversation starter, but the recipient should not rely on it as a standalone clinical finding or use it to make medical decisions without their own independent evaluation.

Your content

You retain ownership of the audio, child profiles, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By using TinyTalk you grant us a limited license to store, process, transcribe, analyze, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and, where you choose to share, to the people you share it with.

You promise that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload recordings of people who have not consented (or, for minors, whose parent/guardian has not consented).
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Don't misuse shared links — the person you invite is your responsibility.
  • Don't use TinyTalk for medical diagnosis or emergency decisions.

Paid plans, purchases, and refunds

Some features require a one-time purchase (e.g. full reports) or a subscription (Pro). Prices are shown in the app before you check out. Subscriptions renew automatically on the schedule shown until you cancel from your account settings.

Because reports are generated on demand and delivered digitally, one-time report purchases are non-refundable once the report has been generated. For subscription issues or accidental purchases, contact support@mytinytalk.com — we handle these case-by-case.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a safety, legal, or security risk.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the analysis or milestone comparisons are error-free or complete.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TINYTALK AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
